The nine-day Navaratri festival and Vijaya Dasami celebrations have led to a huge increase in liquor sales in Telangana, bringing in over ₹1,000 crore in just 10 days. The excise department reported that total revenue reached ₹1,057 crore, with beer sales alone accounting for 18 lakh cases during this time.
