New Delhi, April 20, 2025 – The Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC), in collaboration with APEDA, is all set to organize “AlcoBev India 2025”—a landmark event for India’s alcoholic beverage industry—on April 23, 2025, in New Delhi. Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan will be the Chief Guest.
CIABC Director General Anant S Iyer said the event will bring together top alcobev companies, government officials, and industry leaders to spark innovative ideas, address key challenges, and discuss growth opportunities.
Key sessions will focus on topics like tax reforms, policy changes, premiumisation, and boosting exports, with the goal of taking India’s alco-bev exports from Rs 2,200 crore in 2023-24 to $1 billion soon. India currently ranks 40th in global exports and aims to enter the top 10.
The Indian alcobev sector contributes over Rs 3 lakh crore in taxes annually, supports over 50 lakh farmers, and generates jobs for 20 lakh people, making it a strong pillar of the Make in India and Viksit Bharat vision.
