Bollywood’s Growing Love for Liquor: 2025 Becomes the Year of Celebrity Alcohol Brands

Celebrities have long invested in beauty, fashion, and wellness businesses. But in 2025, a new trend clearly stood out—many famous faces stepped into the alcohol business. Instead of just promoting liquor brands, actors, cricketers, and musicians launched labels of their own.

From vodka and whisky to tequila, several well-known names entered the spirits market this year, turning their personal style and identity into premium alcohol brands.

Here’s a look at the celebrities who launched their own liquor labels in 2025:

Ranveer Singh – Rangeela Vodka

Ranveer Singh made his debut in the alcohol space with Rangeela Vodka, a brand that reflects his colourful and energetic personality. The vodka is smooth, premium, and can be enjoyed straight or in cocktails. It pairs well with citrus, cranberry, and even coffee-based mixes.
Currently priced at Rs 2,400 for a 750 ml bottle, it is available in Maharashtra and will soon launch in other states like Goa and West Bengal.

Rana Daggubati – Loca Loka Tequila

Actor-producer Rana Daggubati co-owns Loca Loka, a tequila brand started along with composer Anirudh Ravichander and entrepreneur Harsha Vadlamudi. After launching in the US and Southeast Asia, the brand arrived in India this year.
Available in major cities and airport duty-free stores, Loca Loka offers Blanco and Reposado variants, with flavours inspired by Mexican traditions and a hint of Indian influence. Prices range between Rs 4,500 and Rs 7,000.

Yuvraj Singh – FINO Tequila

Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh co-founded FINO, which stands for “Failure Is Not an Option.” This artisanal tequila brand offers four variants—Blanco, Rosado, Reposado, and Añejo.
Available in select Indian states and duty-free stores, FINO is positioned as a luxury brand, with prices starting at around Rs 14,700 and going beyond Rs 23,000 for premium variants.

Badshah – Shelter 6 Vodka

Rapper Badshah co-founded Shelter 6 Vodka, produced in Russia and distilled six times using glacial lake water. The vodka is known for its clean taste, smooth finish, and subtle notes of vanilla and citrus.
Priced at Rs 1,999 for a 750 ml bottle, it is currently available in Maharashtra.

Ajay Devgn – GlenJourneys Whisky

Ajay Devgn entered the whisky space with GlenJourneys, starting with a rare 21-year-old Highland single malt. Only 600 bottles were released, making it a collector’s item priced at around Rs 60,000.
The brand later introduced a more accessible Cask Series, finished in different barrels, and priced at Rs 6,409. It is currently available in Maharashtra.

Karan Tacker – EL GOONDA Tequila

Actor Karan Tacker launched EL GOONDA, a tequila made from 100% Indian-grown agave. The brand offers Silver and Reposado variants, along with flavoured options like Picante and Café.
With prices starting at Rs 1,499, the brand also sells smaller bottles for parties and festivals. It is currently available in select Mumbai outlets, with plans to expand to other cities.

Sanjay Dutt – TigerFire Vodka

Sanjay Dutt partnered with Paresh Ghelani to launch TigerFire Vodka, a French-crafted premium vodka. The brand has already earned international recognition, scoring 95 out of 100 from the Beverage Testing Institute.
