This policy explains what information the Alcobev India Business Directory, published by Aabkari Times, Prayagraj, collects, why, and the choices you have, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Listings contain business information about companies: names, addresses, capacity, products, and the names, designations and business contact details of key persons. It comes from the printed directory, public sources and the companies themselves. Names and designations are public on the website. Phone numbers and email IDs are shown only to paid subscribers and in the printed book.
When you create an account or buy something, we collect your email, name, mobile, company, GST number and delivery address. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store them. When you update a listing or apply for a supplier listing, we collect your name, designation, contact details and the changes or logo you send. When you send an enquiry or message, we keep what you write. We also record IP addresses and which listings a subscriber opens with contact details, to prevent misuse and data scraping.
We use this information to run the Directory, verify you with one-time codes, process payments and deliveries, send receipts and service emails, check listing corrections, pass your enquiry to the supplier you contact, prevent fraud and scraping, and meet legal and tax requirements. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with Razorpay for payments, our email provider to send emails, courier companies for book delivery, the supplier you send an enquiry to, and authorities where the law requires it.
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in and to protect forms, and a small browser setting to remember that you closed our notice. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share your browsing with advertisers. Banner views and clicks are counted in total only, not per person.
Account and payment records are kept while your account is active and for as long as tax laws require. Messages and enquiries are kept for up to three years. Listing information is kept until it is corrected or removed.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete personal information about you, including your name or contact numbers in a listing. A company can correct its own listing through Update Listing. For any other request, use the contact form. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity first. Business information about a company, such as its name, address and office contacts, may remain listed.

When you fill a form on this website (enquiry, contact, account, purchase, listing application or correction) we ask for your consent to use the details for that purpose only, as explained above. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to the Grievance Officer; we then stop using the data for that purpose, except where we must keep records by law (for example tax invoices). Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before.
As a Data Principal you can ask us for: a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used; correction, completion or updating of it; erasure of data that is no longer needed; and the name of anyone we have shared it with. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity. Write to the Grievance Officer below; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
The Directory lists businesses and their office-bearers in their professional role (name, designation, business address and business contact numbers). We process this information to publish a trade directory of the alcobev industry, much of which is already published by the companies or public authorities. Any person listed can ask us to correct or remove their personal details at any time, free of charge, through this form.
Contact details are stored separately and shown only to paid subscribers, with daily limits against copying. Uploaded files are checked and only re-created clean pictures are stored. If a personal data breach ever happens, we will inform the Data Protection Board and the affected persons as the law requires.
This is a business directory for adults working in the industry. We do not knowingly collect data of anyone under 18.
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version, and that version applies.
