Panaji, July 2026: Globus Spirits has expanded the availability of its premium spirits portfolio to Goa, launching TERAI Tequila and SNOSKI Jamun Vodka in the state as part of its ongoing premiumisation strategy. The Goa entry marks a meaningful step for both brands, as the state is widely regarded as one of India’s most vibrant and influential markets for premium spirits consumption.
TERAI Tequila is positioned as India’s first authentic, CRT-certified tequila bottled domestically, crafted from 100 per cent Blue Weber Agave sourced from Jalisco, Mexico, and bottled in India under the licence and supervision of the Consejo Regulador del Tequila the official Mexican regulatory body that certifies tequila authenticity. The tequila is produced at La Huaracha Distillery in Jalisco using 100 per cent Blue Weber Agave grown in Mexico’s volcanic soil, giving it a genuine Mexican provenance that the brand uses as a key differentiator in a category where authenticity is increasingly valued by Indian consumers. TERAI Tequila is priced between ₹3,600 and ₹4,500 in Goa, depending on state taxation.
SNOSKI Jamun Vodka brings a distinctly Indian flavour identity to the premium vodka category, offering a contemporary spirits experience inspired by the nostalgic taste of Indian jamun, a positioning designed to appeal to consumers who want global category credentials with a local flavour story.

Rajesh Fanda, Senior Business Leader, Globus Spirits, said the Goa launch was more than a market expansion. “Every market has its own personality and Goa has long been one of India’s most vibrant and influential destinations for premium spirits. Launching TERAI Tequila and SNOSKI Jamun Vodka here is therefore another meaningful milestone in our premiumisation journey.”
A key challenge for tequila in India has been accessibility products that are accessible in price often leave much to be desired in terms of taste and packaging, while those that deliver on experience are exceedingly expensive. TERAI Tequila aims to bridge that gap, offering a premium yet relatively accessible price point for Goa’s large base of domestic and international tourists alongside resident premium spirit consumers.

Goa’s unique position as a high-footfall tourist destination with a sophisticated on-trade and retail liquor ecosystem makes it a strategically important launch market for premium international-style spirits. Brands that establish strong traction in Goa’s premium bars, hotels and retail outlets typically benefit from both direct sales volumes and wider national brand visibility through the tourist and hospitality network.
Together, TERAI Tequila and SNOSKI Jamun Vodka reflect Globus Spirits’ broader strategy of building a differentiated premium portfolio that spans both global spirit categories and distinctly Indian flavour experiences a combination the company believes is well-suited to India’s evolving consumer preferences across urban markets and premium leisure destinations.
