Drifters Brewing Company, the Maharashtra-born craft beer brand, has expanded its presence into Goa with the launch of two signature beers, Belgian White and Mexican Crisp. The November 2026 market entry marks another step in the company’s plans to grow beyond its home market and establish a wider presence across India.
Both new offerings are brewed at 4.6% alcohol by volume (ABV) and are designed to combine craft beer character with an approachable drinking experience. Belgian White is a smooth, hazy beer made with malted and unmalted grains, Curaçao orange peel and coriander seeds, delivering citrus notes with subtle spice. Mexican Crisp is a refreshing lager featuring gentle fruity and floral notes, mild grain sweetness and a clean finish.
A key part of Drifters’ brewing strategy is its focus on combining craft beer quality with the consistency and stability associated with commercial beer. The company says its beers are pasteurised and shelf-stable, without added preservatives or additives. This approach is intended to support wider distribution while maintaining the products’ distinctive taste and quality.

Co-Founder Shiital Shah said the company’s focus remains on developing beers that combine distinctive character, consistent quality and broader market accessibility.
Founded in 2016, Drifters began its retail journey with its first Tap Station in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex in 2018, followed by expansion across Pune and Maharashtra.
The introduction of canned products in 2025 further strengthened its distribution strategy and accessibility across different consumption occasions.
In Goa, Belgian White and Mexican Crisp will initially be available at select bars, hotels, cafés, pubs and wine shops. The 500 ml cans are priced at ₹165, while 330 ml pints are priced at ₹120. The company also plans to introduce additional beer styles and limited-edition releases, with availability on taps at select Goa venues expected in the near future.
The expansion reflects Drifters Brewing Company’s ambition to build a nationally recognised craft beer brand by combining brewing innovation, product consistency and a distinctive approach to beer experiences.
