Bareilly has a new destination for consumers interested in fruit-based wines. A new outlet offering naturally fermented fruit wines has opened near Saun Foota Tiraha on Pilibhit Bypass. According to the outlet operator, five varieties made from different fruits and honey are currently available.
Exploring New Fruit Wine Flavours
Unlike conventional grape wine, the new outlet focuses on wines made from fruits and other ingredients. According to the operator, the products are naturally fermented and do not use artificial colours or artificial flavours.
The outlet currently offers five variants: Banana Caramel, Braggot, Mint & Masala, Mango and Mulberry. While some products are positioned in the regular segment, Mango and Mulberry wines are being offered as premium variants.

The premium Mango and Mulberry wines are said to have an alcohol content of around 12% to 15%. Banana Caramel wine is reportedly priced at approximately ₹140. Prices and availability, however, may change.
Outlet Operating Under V5 Licence
According to operator Alok Verma, the outlet has obtained a V5 licence from the Excise Department and is operating in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The outlet is scheduled to remain open from 10 am to 10 pm. It is located near Saun Foota Tiraha on Pilibhit Bypass, opposite the traffic signal.
A New Segment for Bareilly’s Beverage Market
Fruit-based wines are gradually emerging as a distinct category within India’s beverage and food-processing ecosystem. Turning locally available fruits into value-added fermented products can potentially create opportunities across fruit processing, local entrepreneurship and beverage manufacturing.
The operator describes the Bareilly outlet as a distinctive initiative for the Bareilly division focused on naturally fermented fruit wines. Consumer response and demand will determine how this emerging category develops in the region.
