Indian homegrown beer brand Medusa Beverages has won international recognition at the World Beer Awards 2026, securing a Bronze award for Medusa Air in the Can Label Design category. The recognition highlights the brand’s distinctive packaging and places an Indian beer brand among global entries recognised at the international beer competition.
Medusa Air is a 4.50% ABV International Lager featuring the brand’s signature Medusa character, depicted with flowing dark hair and colourful sunglasses against a clean white background with bold navy branding. The visual identity, inspired by the brand’s mythological namesake, has become a defining element of Medusa’s packaging and brand communication, combining contemporary design with a playful interpretation of the Medusa character.

Avneet Singh, Founder and CEO of Medusa Beverages, said the company has been deliberate about building Medusa as a recognisable and memorable brand, with its approach extending from the beer itself to the consumer experience surrounding it. He said the World Beer Awards recognition was a proud moment for the company and provided validation for the brand’s direction as Medusa continues to expand across markets.
The World Beer Awards is an international competition that recognises excellence across different segments of the global beer industry. The Bronze recognition for Medusa Air comes as Medusa Beverages continues to strengthen its presence across India and expand into international markets, including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
