Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka has been featured in a new signature cocktail at The Nine Elms Bar at Park Hyatt London River Thames, marking another prominent London listing for the British-Indian vodka brand. The Oxford Clover Club has been created by the hotel’s chief mixologist, Mitsuhiro Nakamura, as part of the bar’s new cocktail menu, Rooted in Nine Elms.
The Oxford Clover Club puts a contemporary twist on the classic Clover Club cocktail, traditionally made with gin and raspberries. The new serve combines Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka with Earl Grey tea, pineapple, Angostura bitters, egg white and lime juice, creating a cocktail that brings together tea-inspired flavours, tropical fruit and a smooth, velvety texture.
According to Mitsuhiro Nakamura, the cocktail was developed as a tribute to the city associated with Desi Daru while incorporating elements of his own background in Japanese tea ceremony. The Earl Grey tea provides the drink’s aromatic foundation, while Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka adds the sweetness and brightness of Indian Alphonso mango.
The Oxford Clover Club is part of Rooted in Nine Elms, the latest cocktail menu at The Nine Elms Bar. The menu features a collection of modern classic cocktails inspired by the heritage and changing character of the Nine Elms area. The drinks are served in the riverside lounge at Park Hyatt London River Thames, with the space drawing inspiration from the neighbourhood’s industrial heritage.

Desi Daru co-founder Mohit Singh said the collaboration represents an important milestone for the brand in the UK, describing Nakamura as a precise and thoughtful mixologist and the Oxford Clover Club as an example of the kind of modern cocktail the brand aims to inspire. The collaboration brings together Desi Daru’s Indian flavour profile with London’s contemporary cocktail culture.
Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife team Mohit Singh and Aneet Kaur, Desi Daru was created around the idea of bringing together flavours and techniques associated with Britain and India. Its flagship Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka is produced using sun-ripened Alphonso mangoes sourced from Ratnagiri in Maharashtra.
The brand has also expanded its presence across London’s cocktail scene, with listings at venues including Velvet, Vesper and As Above So Below. Its latest collaboration with The Nine Elms Bar further adds to the brand’s growing footprint in the UK hospitality and cocktail market.
Desi Daru received B Corp certification in October 2025 and is distributed in the UK by Speciality Drinks. The vodka is also available through specialist retailers including Master of Malt.
With the launch of the Oxford Clover Club, Desi Daru Alphonso Mango Vodka continues to build its presence in premium cocktail bars while showcasing Indian mango flavours through contemporary British cocktail culture.
