New Delhi: The All India Brewers Association (AIBA) has launched Leadership Connect 2026, a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at strengthening engagement with brewery leadership across the country. The programme seeks to promote direct dialogue with member breweries, understand region-specific industry challenges, and ensure that AIBA’s policy advocacy reflects practical industry perspectives.
As part of the initiative, AIBA Secretary General Mr. Gopal Joshi visited Yuksom Breweries Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, where he met with Mr. Sudip Barman, Chief Executive Officer, and the company’s leadership team. The discussions focused on key issues shaping India’s beer sector, including evolving state excise regulations, policy priorities, responsible brewing practices, market opportunities, and measures to enhance the competitiveness of the domestic brewing industry.
According to AIBA, the initiative is built on the belief that effective industry representation begins with listening to stakeholders. Through direct interaction with brewery management teams, the association aims to better understand operational realities across different states and incorporate these insights into its engagement with policymakers.
