United Breweries CHRO Kavita Singh to Step Down; Company Begins Search for Successor

United Breweries Ltd has announced that its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Director – People, Kavita Singh, will step down from her role on April 30, 2026. She has decided to leave the company to explore opportunities outside the organisation.

Her exit marks an important leadership change for the company’s HR function, which plays a key role in hiring talent, developing employees, and shaping workplace culture. Following her resignation, United Breweries has started the process of finding a suitable successor who can continue to lead its people strategy effectively.

United Breweries, India’s largest beer producer and a subsidiary of global brewing giant Heineken N.V., is currently led by Managing Director and CEO Vivek Gupta, who took charge in 2023.

ADVERTISMENT

The appointment of a new CHRO will be closely watched by investors and industry stakeholders, as it may indicate the company’s future priorities in talent management and human resource development.
