Renewal Begins for 7,665 Liquor Shops Across Rajasthan

Jaipur: The Rajasthan excise department has started the licence renewal process for liquor shops for the 2026–27 financial year, covering 7,665 vends across the state.

Current licence holders have been asked to submit their renewal applications online by midnight on February 11, along with the required application fee.

According to the department, shops with a minimum reserve price of up to ₹2 crore will need to pay a renewal fee of ₹60,000, while those with a reserve price above ₹2 crore must pay ₹1.2 lakh.

An excise official said that applications submitted without selecting the renewal option will be rejected, and the fee paid will be adjusted as per existing rules.

The renewal will follow a cluster-based system, under which licence holders within the same group will get the first chance to renew their respective shops. If some operators choose not to renew, other shop owners within the same cluster will be allowed to apply, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

To make the process easier, the department has enabled online submissions through the IEMS 2.0 portal, accessible via SSO ID under the section titled “Shop Renewal for 2026–27.”

In addition to the application fee, licence holders must deposit a security amount equal to 8% of the annual guarantee value by February 28.
