Indian liquor maker Globus Spirits Ltd has launched a new premium product — TERAI India Craft Vodka, claimed to be the world’s first vodka filtered through amethyst crystals.
The vodka is handmade at the company’s TERAI distillery in Behror, Rajasthan, using locally grown rice and carefully designed production techniques. What makes it stand out is the final step — filtering the spirit through amethyst crystals, which, according to the company, gives it a “smooth and playful” taste.
“We are taking a bold step in our premium journey with TERAI India Craft Vodka,” said Shekhar Swarup, Joint Managing Director of Globus Spirits. “We believe it will appeal to modern consumers who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and uniqueness in their drinks.”
The vodka has been launched in Jaipur and Udaipur, priced at ₹2,245 for a 750 ml bottle, and will soon be available in Delhi, Gurgaon, Goa, and Mumbai at leading retail outlets and premium bars.
This launch is part of Globus Spirits’ broader strategy to strengthen its premium portfolio, following the success of its TERAI Craft Gin. With over three decades in India’s alco-bev industry, the company runs integrated distilleries in five states and continues to introduce innovative, high-quality products to match evolving consumer tastes.
