Radico Khaitan’s Rampur Indian Single Malt has earned a spot on Drinks International Magazine’s prestigious list of the World’s 50 Most Admired Whiskies 2025. This is the brand’s debut on the list, putting it alongside some of the world’s most celebrated names.
The ranking is based on opinions from global experts, including bar owners, head bartenders, and industry professionals across more than 100 renowned bars. Whiskies were judged on quality, consistency, value for money, and brand strength.
Rampur joins Amrut as the only two Indian brands featured this year. The top three positions went to Michter’s (USA), Yamazaki (Japan), and Hibiki (Japan).
Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director of Radico Khaitan, called the recognition “the fruit of our global strategy built on authenticity, premiumisation, and sustainable growth.” He added that Indian single malts are not just growing but “rewriting the rulebook.”

Radico Khaitan, originally known as Rampur Distillery Company, operates distilleries in Rampur, Sitapur, and Aurangabad (Maharashtra, a 36% JV). The company has a production capacity of 321 million litres and runs 44 bottling units across India.
