Polish-origin beverage brand MALAYALI Beer has secured World Beer Awards recognition for every product in its current portfolio, marking a notable achievement for the four-year-old brand. At the 2026 World Beer Awards, MALAYALI Power won a Silver medal in the Strong Beer category, while MALAYALI Habibi 0.0% received Silver in the No & Low Alcohol category and another Silver for its packaging design.
The latest awards build on the brand’s performance at the 2025 World Beer Awards, where MALAYALI Lager won Gold and MALAYALI Non-Alcoholic received Bronze. With these recognitions, the company says all products in its portfolio have now received at least one World Beer Award within four years of the brand’s launch.
MALAYALI Beer was founded four years ago by Chandramohan Nallur and Sargheve Sukumaran. The brand’s origins can be traced to an unexpected supply-chain disruption in Europe, which prompted the founders to experiment with brewing. Their product development combined European hops with Indian rice flakes to create a beer designed around a smooth and accessible drinking profile.

The brand name MALAYALI pays tribute to Kerala and the state’s large global diaspora. While maintaining this cultural identity, the company has focused on developing products for international markets and expanding its presence across different beverage categories.
MALAYALI Beer is currently distributed across 25 countries, with a presence in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The company has also entered the international travel retail market, with listings at three major airport duty-free locations. Its products are also available at the Muscat International Airport business lounge, expanding the brand’s visibility among international travellers.
In the Middle East, MALAYALI Beer has partnered with regional retailers including LuLu Group to expand distribution. MALAYALI Habibi 0.0%, the brand’s zero-alcohol malt beverage, and Adipoli, its tropical hydration drink, are among the products being offered through the region’s retail network.
A key product in the portfolio is MALAYALI Habibi 0.0%, which the company describes as a zero-alcohol and zero-sugar malt beverage. The product is positioned toward consumers looking for alternatives to conventional alcoholic beverages and reflects the company’s focus on expanding its portfolio beyond traditional beer.
The latest World Beer Awards recognition gives MALAYALI Beer a broader portfolio of accolades spanning conventional beer, strong beer, non-alcoholic beverages and packaging design. The company is continuing to build its international distribution network while using its Kerala-inspired identity as part of its positioning in global beverage markets.
