Paul John Indian Single Malt has released its 2024 Christmas Edition whisky, marking the seventh installment in this festive series.
Bottled at 92 proof, the 2024 Christmas Edition is produced by John Distilleries in Goa, India. The whisky is a blend of malt aged in new oak barrels and malt finished in Caribbean rum casks. It’s priced between $79.99 and $84.99 per 750ml bottle, which comes in a special festive tube.
Paul P. John, Chairman of John Distilleries Pvt Ltd, expressed excitement about the release, saying, “We’re thrilled to present the seventh edition of our Christmas Edition series, and we hope it brings joy to whisky collectors this holiday season.” He added that growing demand and anticipation for each year’s release motivate the distillery to continuously improve the quality of this limited edition.

For the U.S. market, 7,000 bottles have been produced and imported by the Sazerac Company.
Tasting Notes for the 2024 Christmas Edition
- Color: Deep gold
- Nose: Mango, pineapple, vanilla cake, caramel custard, and sandalwood
- Taste: Spicy, with coconut and candied orange, plus a hint of toasted oak
- Finish: Fruit tart, peach, and salted toffee with chewy tannins
