Three Brothers Distillery has announced that its whisky brands, 55° North and Northern Pride, have collectively crossed 500,000 units in sales across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The milestone marks a significant development for the company as it expands its regional footprint and builds consumer recognition for its Indian whisky portfolio. The achievement reflects the brands’ growing presence across three important northern markets and the company’s efforts to establish a stronger position in India’s evolving alcoholic beverages industry.
Three Brothers Distillery, the brand business of the Suraj Group, has been developing its premium spirits portfolio with a focus on craftsmanship, product differentiation and regional market expansion. Its flagship brand, 55° North, entered the Indian retail market in Delhi before expanding into Uttarakhand and other northern territories. Northern Pride was introduced in 2025 as an additional blended whisky offering inspired by the heritage and character of North India.

The two brands cater to different consumer preferences within the whisky segment. 55° North combines Indian grain spirit and Indian malt with Scotch malt whiskies, while Northern Pride brings together Indian grain spirit and Scotch malts in a blended whisky expression. The portfolio reflects the company’s approach of combining Indian production capabilities with established whisky-making influences to develop differentiated offerings for domestic consumers.
Uttar Pradesh represents an important market for the company, given its substantial consumer base and established liquor retail network. Three Brothers Distillery has previously announced plans to introduce both brands across selected cities, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Noida and Ghaziabad. The company’s manufacturing and bottling operations in Uttar Pradesh also support its regional expansion strategy
