Molson Coors Beverage Company is strengthening its presence in the growing non-alcoholic beverage market with plans to expand the distribution of its alcohol-free brands across the United States. The company, which owns Coors, is preparing for a nationwide rollout of Coors 0.0 while also increasing the availability of its non-alcoholic canned cocktail brand Naked Life. In addition, Molson Coors plans to introduce a non-alcoholic version of Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy in select U.S. markets as consumers increasingly seek alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages.
The expansion is part of Molson Coors’ broader strategy to diversify its portfolio beyond conventional beer as moderation and reduced alcohol consumption continue to influence consumer preferences. The company’s existing non-alcoholic beer lineup includes Blue Moon Non-Alcoholic, Peroni 0.0 and Coors Edge, alongside the newer Coors 0.0 offering. Molson Coors said the expanded portfolio is intended to provide consumers with greater choice across beer, non-alcoholic beer and other beverage categories.

Coors 0.0, which was launched in the U.S. Northeast in May, has gained strong early momentum. According to Circana data cited by Molson Coors, the brand has become the No. 1 non-alcoholic beer innovation by volume sales. The company plans to support its wider rollout through partnerships, marketing campaigns and retail activations as it seeks to build further consumer awareness and distribution for the brand.
Molson Coors is also expanding Naked Life, an Australian non-alcoholic cocktail brand that it introduced to the U.S. market last year. The company said the brand has delivered encouraging momentum. Naked Life contains 5 calories and no sugar, positioning it toward consumers who are not only reducing their alcohol intake but are also paying greater attention to sugar and calorie consumption.

The company’s non-alcoholic strategy comes alongside continued investments in its traditional beer business and expansion into ready-to-drink cocktails. Molson Coors recently acquired Monaco Cocktails, reinforcing its broader “beyond beer” strategy and its focus on scaling brands that align with changing consumer demand.
Kevin Nitz, vice president of non-alcoholic beverages at Molson Coors, said distributors that successfully adapt to the changing market will increasingly operate as total beverage distributors, rather than focusing exclusively on beer. The company’s latest expansion highlights its intention to capture opportunities across both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage categories as moderation trends continue to reshape the U.S. drinks market.
