Yorkshire-based Wold Top Brewery has announced the return of its popular Oktoberfest celebration, with the one-day beer festival scheduled for September 26, 2026, at its brewery in Wold Newton. The event will run from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and promises an exciting mix of craft beer, food, and live entertainment. Building on the success of last year’s festival, the brewery’s team has once again created a special Oktoberfest beer exclusively for the occasion.
According to Managing Director Kate Balchin, the positive response from visitors and the brewers’ enthusiasm for producing a unique festival beer inspired the decision to bring back the German-style celebration with a distinctive Yorkshire character. Attendees can enjoy the limited-edition Oktoberfest brew, German-inspired cuisine with a Yorkshire twist prepared by Nabs Nosh, and live performances from a traditional Oompah band. Tickets are priced at £18 and include either a pint of beer or a soft drink, while camping, caravan, and motorhome pitches will also be available for £12 per pitch, offering visitors the opportunity to extend their festival experience. The event is expected to attract beer enthusiasts and festival-goers from across the region, further strengthening Wold Top Brewery’s reputation as one of Yorkshire’s leading independent craft brewers
