Premium spirits brand Loca Loka, originally founded in Singapore, is all set to launch in India this October, according to media reports. The brand is led by Sree Harsha Vadlamudi (CEO & Founder), along with renowned actor Rana Daggubati and music composer Anirudh Ravichander.
Loca Loka, known for its high-quality Blanco and Reposado tequilas, has already made a name for itself internationally. Both variants have won top honors, including gold and silver medals at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Crafted in Mexico and previously available in the U.S. and Singapore, Loca Loka is now bringing its globally recognized tequila to Indian shores. The brand blends storytelling with craftsmanship, aiming to make a distinct mark in India’s fast-growing premium liquor market.
According to market analysts, India’s tequila segment is projected to grow to $76 million by 2025, with an annual growth rate of nearly 10% through 2030—outpacing the global average.
“Our dream was to build a global brand first,” said Rana Daggubati. “After our international success, we’re excited to now introduce Loca Loka to India.”
The brand’s Indian debut will begin with availability in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, as well as duty-free stores at Hyderabad and Delhi airports. Looking ahead, Loca Loka also plans to expand into Australia and the U.K. markets.
