Radico Khaitan reported a strong financial performance for the second quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising 66.5% year-on-year to Rs 232.34 crore, supported by robust demand for premium and luxury spirits. The company’s revenue from operations increased 10.4% to Rs 5,582.71 crore during the quarter, reflecting continued growth in its branded spirits business and the ongoing premiumisation trend in India’s alcoholic beverages market.
The company’s total Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) volumes grew 7.2% in Q2FY27. Its Prestige & Above portfolio, comprising premium, super-premium and luxury brands, emerged as the key growth driver, recording a 35.8% increase in volumes to 5.28 million cases. The portfolio includes brands such as Rampur Indian Single Malt Whisky, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin and Magic Moments Vodka. In contrast, volumes in the Regular & Others category declined 9.7% to 4.55 million cases, partly due to a high base in the previous year and policy-related developments in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan said the company’s premium portfolio continued to outperform the industry. He highlighted the growing contribution of vodka, whose share of the IMFL industry increased to 6.3% in Q2FY27, indicating a broader shift in consumer preferences. Radico Khaitan has raised its Prestige & Above volume growth guidance to 30% for FY27 while retaining its EBITDA margin guidance at around 20%.
The company also announced leadership changes, elevating Dilip Banthiya to Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, while Saket Somani has been appointed Deputy CFO.

He pointed to Karnataka’s rationalised duty framework and encouraging developments in Tamil Nadu as positive signals for organised, branded players. However, he cautioned that global uncertainty, input-cost pressures and supply-chain challenges remain concerns. Radico Khaitan plans to address these through integrated manufacturing, improved procurement and a stronger premium product mix, while maintaining its focus on profitable growth.
