Indian premium spirits have earned another global milestone as Aaghaaz, the artisan single malt whisky from the Oasis Group, became the first Indian single malt whisky to receive the prestigious Global Rising Star Award 2026. The honour was presented at the House of Lords, Parliament of the United Kingdom, London, recognising the brand’s outstanding craftsmanship, innovation, premium quality and growing international presence.
The award was presented by MP Paul Scully and Lord Rami Ranger. Accepting the honour on behalf of the company, Gauravh Malhotra, Director of the Oasis Group of Companies, described the recognition as an important milestone for both the company and India’s rapidly growing premium whisky industry.

Oasis Group Expands Its Global Footprint
The Oasis Group has established a strong presence across 20 Indian states and three Union Territories, while also exporting its products to multiple international markets.
