Tallink Silja Line has unveiled a new exclusive private label collection of wines and beers for the 2026–2028 season, offering passengers a refreshed onboard beverage experience across its ships, hotels, restaurants and online store.
According to the company, the newly selected wines and beers will be available from May 2026 through April 2028. The collection was finalized after an international competition and a detailed blind tasting process involving industry experts and hospitality professionals.
Aimar Pärna, Head of Tallink Duty Free, said the company has a long-standing tradition of carefully selecting signature ship beverages that align with changing customer tastes, global culinary trends and premium quality standards.
The selection process involved a panel comprising sommeliers, wine and beer specialists, as well as onboard and onshore restaurant managers. Around 150 wines were evaluated based on several factors, including country of origin, grape variety, sustainability, pricing and flavor profile.
The new private label range includes champagne, prosecco, white wine, rosé and red wine sourced from renowned producers in France, Italy and Spain. Each bottle has been specially labeled and produced exclusively for Tallink Silja Line.
For the beer category, the company selected one premium lager and one premium porter through a blind tasting of 37 craft beer entries submitted by breweries from Finland, Sweden, Germany and Estonia.
Tallink Silja Line also highlighted that all wines and beers included in the 2026–2028 collection are vegan-friendly and sustainably produced, reflecting the company’s focus on responsible and environmentally conscious beverage offerings.
The launch of the new beverage portfolio is expected to further enhance the onboard dining and hospitality experience for travelers across the Baltic region.
