Jaipur, January 27, 2026 – The Rajasthan Government has issued major amendments to the Excise and Liquor Temperance Policy (आबकारी एवं मद्य-संयम नीति) for 2025-29, effective from April 1, 2026. These changes focus on revenue enhancement, competitive pricing, curbing illicit liquor, and promoting eco-friendly packaging. Liquor Shop License Renewal & Guarantee Amounts
Existing licensees can renew for 2026-27 with a 12.5% increase in annual guarantee. Cluster reserve prices also increased by 12.5%. Application fees based on reserve price:
