Ochre Spirits has announced its entry into Maharashtra, marking a major step in the brand’s expansion journey. The move comes as demand for premium and craft spirits continues to grow across India. Over the next three years, Maharashtra is expected to contribute more than 25% to Ochre Spirits’ overall business.

Maharashtra is already a massive ₹23,250 crore excise market, with consumers increasingly shifting towards premium and luxury alcohol. Across India, premium spirits now account for about 10% of the total spirits market value, and this share is steadily rising. In Maharashtra, the premium segment is expected to see strong single-digit to low double-digit growth over the next 3–5 years.
Building on its success in Goa and Pondicherry, Ochre Spirits is now introducing its craft portfolio in major Maharashtra cities including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad, focusing on top retail outlets and popular bars and restaurants.
