Associated Alcohols & Breweries Limited (AABL), a part of the Associated Kedia Group, has introduced a new premium whiskey called Hillfort Whiskey. It comes in three bottle sizes: 750 ml for Rs 1,395, 375 ml for Rs 700, and 180 ml for Rs 340.
Hillfort Whiskey offers a distinctive flavor profile that starts with a smoky aroma and evolves into ashy undertones, floral hints, and notes of citrus and tropical fruits. The whiskey has a rich malt scent with wood-smoked honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and black cardamom. On the palate, it’s smooth and velvety, with oak spices and a touch of malt sweetness. Crafted without aging, Hillfort achieves its complexity and smoothness through careful blending.
Tushar Bhandari, whole-time director of AABL, stated, “Hillfort Whiskey represents a refined taste at an affordable price. It’s inspired by the premium smoky flavors of high-end whiskeys and aims to deliver a luxurious experience while keeping quality at the forefront. We want to make premium whiskey more accessible to a wider audience.”

Currently available in retail outlets and select bars in Madhya Pradesh, Hillfort Whiskey will expand to Delhi and Maharashtra in January 2025. It’s positioned as an affordable luxury in the high-end whiskey market.
AABL also manages several other brands, including Central Province Whiskey, Titanium Triple Distilled Vodka, and James McGill Whiskey, and is licensed to produce international brands such as Bagpiper Whiskey and McDowell No. 1 Celebration Rum.
