He stressed that the government is determined to take strict action against these issues.Excise and Prohibition Minister Kollu Ravindra announced that, unlike in the past, liquor is now subjected to nine different tests before it hits the market. He emphasized that strict measures will be enforced against shops that violate maximum retail price (MRP) rules or sell illegal liquor. Ravindra stated that licenses for any shops caught in these violations will be suspended. He made these comments during a press briefing in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
