This unusual concept aims to blend emotion with distilling, offering a unique take on the whisky-making process.
Fireball is launching an unusual whisky called Crierball, made from the tears of losing football fans. Known for its cinnamon-flavored whisky, Fireball plans to collect tears at major NFL and college rivalry games this November. Fans who are upset about their team’s defeat will be invited to donate their tears, which will then be distilled into this unique whisky.
Fireball’s team, dressed in red uniforms, will be at several games, including:
- November 2: Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, GA
- November 10: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys in Dallas, TX
- November 17: Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears in Chicago, IL
- November 17: Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh, PA
- November 30: Auburn Tigers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, AL
- November 30: Michigan Wolverines vs. Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus, OH
The brand’s global director, Danny Suich, said they aim to capture the spirit of competition and rivalry with this project. He mentioned that the tears will undergo a thorough sterilization and distillation process to ensure safety.
Fireball encourages fans to fully express their emotions, stating, “The more bawling, the more tears for future whisky infusion.” If all goes according to plan, Crierball could be ready for the next football season, offering fans a one-of-a-kind whisky that combines the thrill of victory with the sorrow of defeat.
