NAWANSHAHR: A day before polling in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, the excise teams formed by district administration have been keeping a close vigil to ensure free, fair and peaceful election.
All 147 liquor vends have been sealed in the district following the ending of campaigning on Friday after 6 pm falling under jurisdiction of SBS Nagar district.
Assistant Excise Commissioner… said that all liquor venda would remain close till the end of voting on Sunday.
He told that no hotel, restaurant, club and others would be allowed to serve liquor in their premises till the conclusion of voting.
He further said that no person can also store liquor.
