Blisswater Industries Private Limited, the company behind Rahasya vodka, has announced that it has raised a Seed funding round of USD 3,35,000 from CC One Venture Labs, Majithia Family House and independent investors Yash Shah (co-founder Disruptium) and Sham Kishor Bhat.

The funds will be deployed towards expanding the company’s geographic footprint and broadening its product offering.

In January this year, Blisswater Industries unveiled its first product Rahasya – a craft vodka inspired by the mysticism and folklore of India. Rahasya marries India’s culinary legacy with its new, self-confident future. Currently available across retail stores and HoReCa in Goa, the vodka will soon be available in Maharashtra, Karnataka and a few other domestic markets. Blisswater Industries is also planning to take Rahasya to four countries outside India, to give global citizens a taste of India.

The freshly raised funds will enable the brand to expand its retail and HoReCa presence across India and internationally, as well as invest in developing two more products.


Rahasya is the brainchild of Varna Bhat, a first-generation entrepreneur who comes from a creative industry background of branding, events, and experiential marketing.

The intention was to create a product from India for the world with pride in the country’s rich and glorious civilizational brilliance. The company’s vision is to take the unique alcobev, that has been re-imagined from Indian culinary secrets, to the world. The product is targeted at the new age consumer who is aspirational and well-travelled yet strongly rooted to the ethos of India.

Blisswater is focused on bringing to India and the world innovative products in the Alcobev category that draw from traditional sensibilities.
