In a bizarre incident, a monkey paid visit to a liquor shop in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandla district and started drinking from a brand new whisky bottle.
In the 1-minute-and-14-second clip, the monkey can be seen gulping down the alcohol nonchalantly, seated on a table, after he succeeds in opening the bottle with the shopkeeper standing next to him.

As seen in the video, no one shooed him away and people started cheering for him as soon as he opened the bottle. The monkey was offered snacks, but he was more interested in taking the whisky. He drank water from a plastic cup before leaving, reported the Free Press Journal.
