Medusa Beverages Expands to GCC, Takes Indian Beer to Global Markets

New Delhi, February 24, 2026: Medusa Beverages, one of India’s fastest-growing beer brands, has announced its expansion into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, marking a major step in its international growth plans.

As part of this move, the company will begin local production in the respective GCC markets through strategic brewing partnerships. Medusa plans to roll out its products in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, strengthening its footprint outside India.

The company will initially introduce two of its leading products — Medusa Premium and Medusa Air. Distribution will mainly focus on off-trade channels, including supermarkets, bottle shops, and licensed retail outlets.

The expansion comes at a time when the GCC alcoholic beverage market is witnessing strong growth. The market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 7.5% through 2030, potentially reaching USD 15.2 billion by 2032. Rising demand for premium spirits, wines, and craft beers is a key trend driving this growth.

For Medusa, the GCC entry will function as a strategic pilot phase. The company plans to study consumer response, build local partnerships, and strengthen brand visibility before scaling up operations further in the region.

Commenting on the development, Amardeep Singh, Executive Director of Medusa Beverages, said the company is entering the GCC with a structured and long-term approach. He emphasized that while international expansion is important, India remains Medusa’s core market and primary growth driver. The company continues to see significant opportunities across new states and cities within India.

Medusa has grown rapidly in India by focusing on brand building, consumer-driven product innovation, and expanding into new markets. With its GCC rollout, the company aims to replicate its domestic success internationally through strong distribution networks, tailored retail strategies, and sustained brand investment.
