Staggy Whisky Crosses One Million Sales Milestone

Staggy blended whisky, a brand owned by the Cheers Group led by Dr. Mohan Krishna Balivada, has reached an important milestone by selling more than one million units. The whisky is popular in Delhi and is also available across many parts of India. In addition, the brand is exported to international markets.

The Cheers Group focuses on producing unique, high-quality spirits designed to offer memorable experiences to consumers. The company is known as a super-luxury spirits producer in India and owns several premium brands that are sold globally. Its portfolio of ultra-premium spirits has won around 300 awards, and the company’s overall value is estimated to be about ₹1,000 crore.

Because of its success, several international investment funds are showing interest in buying a stake in the company. Cheers Group is also known for producing the premium Kadamba Single-Malt whisky and offering luxury spirits like the Labrodog 12-year-old Scotch.

According to Ashwin Balivada, CEO of Cheers Group, Staggy blended whisky is crafted using imported Scotch, premium Indian malts, and grain spirits. The whisky is designed to deliver a rich flavor inspired by nature. It has a light smoky (peat) aroma along with hints of Goa’s ocean breeze. The taste combines notes of peat, vanilla, and oak, giving it a smooth and balanced finish.

Ashwin Balivada, who studied Business Management at Cambridge University in the UK, said the brand is positioned in the competitive deluxe whisky segment and aims to offer a distinctive drinking experience.
