Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Unveils Exclusive Single Malt Whisky with Amrut

Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center has teamed up with Amrut Distillery to launch a one-of-a-kind single malt whisky created exclusively for its fine-dining restaurant, Zarf. This release also marks Amrut’s 50th single malt, and it’s the first time the distillery has crafted a whisky solely for a restaurant.

The whisky is made from Indian six-row barley and aged for over six years in a refill virgin American oak cask. Its flavor profile has been designed to complement Zarf’s culinary philosophy, which reimagines traditional Indian flavors from “forgotten India” in a modern, contemporary dining setting.

Sanjay Gupta, Multi-Property General Manager of Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield, said the collaboration reflects the hotel’s focus on creating unique experiences where cuisine, craft, and culture intersect. He highlighted that Zarf continues to evolve as a space celebrating Indian heritage in a globally relevant way.

Rakshit N. Jagdale, Managing Director of Amrut Distillery, called the partnership “a meaningful milestone” for the brand, especially as it marks Amrut’s first private-label release in India.

The launch was celebrated with a curated dining experience where guests enjoyed dishes paired with the exclusive whisky, highlighting the seamless blend of fine dining and craft spirits.
