ABD Maestro, the super-premium and luxury spirits arm of Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABD), has announced a new collaboration with Ospree Duty Free, marking its entry into travel retail at Mumbai International Airport. The company counts Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as its Co-Founder and Creative Partner.
With this partnership, ABD Maestro’s premium portfolio is now available to international travellers passing through Mumbai Airport. The company also plans to gradually expand its presence across all Ospree Duty Free outlets in India, strengthening its association with one of the country’s fastest-growing travel retail operators.
Travellers can now purchase some of ABD Maestro’s flagship brands at the airport, including Arthaus Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, Zoya Special Batch Gin, Woodburn Contemporary Indian Malt Whisky, and Russian Standard Vodka.
The collaboration gives ABD Maestro a strong presence at a key consumer touchpoint, allowing global travellers to discover and experience its premium offerings while shopping at duty free.
Commenting on the partnership, an Ospree Duty Free spokesperson said that duty free retail in India is evolving rapidly, with consumers becoming more informed and eager to explore new brands. The spokesperson added that demand for premium and authentic spirits is growing, and the partnership with ABD Maestro fits well with these trends, helping enhance the overall shopping experience at airports.
Bikram Basu, Managing Director of ABD Maestro, said the tie-up with Ospree Duty Free brings the company’s super-luxury portfolio closer to international travellers at major Indian airports, starting with Mumbai. He added that Ospree Duty Free’s strong retail capabilities make it an important partner as ABD Maestro looks to expand its footprint in India’s fast-growing travel retail space and connect with travellers seeking quality and premium experiences.
