About the Brand
A Step Forward Under UP’s New Excise Policy
Under the Uttar Pradesh Excise Policy 2025–26, wineries established within the state can now open their own retail shops — one in each district — to exclusively sell their in-house brands. This move aims to boost agro-based entrepreneurship, support fruit and honey producers, and encourage craft beverage innovation.
The Aabkari(Abkari) Times magazine occupies a unique niche in the Indian media landscape. As the only Hindi monthly magazine dedicated to alcohol, liquor, excise, and allied industries, it caters to a specific audience with a specialized knowledge base.

Mbrosia’s label “Maeve — Farm to Bottle” focuses on honey-based meads made from natural ingredients and traditional methods. Two distinctive variants were unveiled for sale:
The launch of this outlet is being viewed as a milestone for UP’s alcohol and beverage sector — symbolizing “Made in UP” innovation and an expanding opportunity for small producers to engage directly with consumers.
