India Glycols Limited (IGL) has once again made history as its flagship liquor brand Bunty Babli has been recognized as the highest-selling brand in Asia by both the Asia Book of Records (ABR) and India Book of Records (IBR). This marks the third consecutive year that the brand has received this prestigious recognition.
Under the leadership of S.K. Shukla, Business Head of IGL, the company achieved record-breaking sales of over 1.83 crore (18.3 million) cases of Bunty Babli in the last financial year. This remarkable figure has not only set a new benchmark for alcohol sales in India but across Asia as well.
After thoroughly verifying all documents and sales data, ABR and IBR officially selected Bunty Babli for this honor. Nirvijay Yadav, jury member from India Book of Records, presented the official medal, certificates, and record books to S.K. Shukla and Dev Jha, Head of HR & Administration at IGL. He also read out the official results in front of an enthusiastic audience and extended his congratulations to the entire IGL team.
The award ceremony was organized by Akhilesh Kumar Shukla, Amit Kashyap, Mohammad Shabbir, and Vaishnavi Bhatia. The event was attended by a large number of IGL team members including Ashish Gupta, A.K. Singh, Shailesh Chand, Ajit Tripathi, J.K.
