Sitapur/Lucknow— A two-member delegation from the Punjab Excise Department visited Radico Khaitan Ltd. in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, to study UP’s excise policy and operational best practices.
Led by Excise Officers Mr. Amit Goyal and Mr. Rupinder Jeet Singh, the visit focused on Tetra Pak production, QR code-based Track and Trace system, and real-time monitoring tools like ANPR cameras and mass flow meters.
Excise Commissioner Dr. Adarsh Singh briefed the team on production capacity, laminate procurement, and the return fee structure for country liquor and IMFL under the UP Excise Policy 2025–26.
The delegation also visited a composite liquor shop in Sidhauli Bazaar, reviewing POS billing, CCTV surveillance, and sales systems. The visit concluded with a formal meeting in Lucknow, where Dr. Singh emphasized that inter-state collaborations enhance transparency, efficiency, and excise administration reforms.
