Suntory Global Spirits has launched its premium Bowmore Appellations Collection in Indian travel retail, making it available to international travelers at Delhi Duty Free and Ospree Duty Free in Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
Originally introduced globally in November 2024, this exclusive single malt whisky series highlights Bowmore’s rich heritage from Islay, Scotland, while drawing flavor inspiration from some of Europe’s most renowned wine regions like Burgundy, Bordeaux, Douro Valley, and Sauternes.
Each expression in the Appellations Collection offers a unique cask-finished twist:

Bowmore 14-Year-Old: Aged in American Oak ex-Bourbon casks, finished in Bordeaux barriques.

Bowmore 16-Year-Old: Aged in both Bourbon and Sherry casks, with a finish in Ruby Port casks from Portugal’s Douro Valley.

Bowmore 19-Year-Old: Finished in Burgundy Pinot Noir casks after Bourbon cask maturation.

Bowmore 22-Year-Old: A rich, sweet whisky matured in Bourbon casks and finished in Sauternes wine barrels.
As part of this rollout, a dedicated 33 sqm Bowmore shop-in-shop has also been opened at Mumbai International Airport (Arrivals), in collaboration with Ospree Duty Free.
