Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): In a major haul, a Nagaland Excise department duty party has seized 19,200 bottles of cough syrup and 6,91,200 capsules of Semplx+ from a Manipur-bound truck at Dillai check gate on February 3.
The contrabands were recovered during a routine checking of vehicles by an Excise MS duty party led by Asst. Inspector Rukhriezetuo at the check gate, informed a press release from Toshiho Yeptho, Superintendent of Excise & Prohibition (MS) Dimapur. A case has been forwarded to the Court for trial and all the seized articles are kept in the Excise Malkhana for destruction as and when the Court deems fit, it added.
