Rahul Mishra creates special Johnnie Walker Blue Label design

Johnnie Walker has launched a new limited-edition look for its famous Blue Label whisky, designed by Indian fashion designer Rahul Mishra. Known for his focus on “slow fashion” and promoting local artisans, Mishra has brought elements of India’s culture, flora, and fauna into the bottle and packaging design.

The design reflects Mishra’s philosophy of craftsmanship and storytelling, celebrating bright beginnings and festive spirits with motifs of blooming flowers and lively animals. Mishra, the first Indian designer to showcase at Paris Haute Couture Week, said he feels connected to Johnnie Walker’s long history and detailed approach to making whisky.

Dr. Emma Walker, Johnnie Walker’s Master Blender, praised the design, highlighting how it complements the Blue Label’s luxurious taste, which carries notes of citrus, dark chocolate, and smoke—perfect for celebrations.

The limited-edition Blue Label bottles will be available worldwide. They will be the highlight of Johnnie Walker’s global festivities in October and November. In Canada, they will reach select liquor stores from September, while stocks last.
