Indore-based Mount Everest Breweries Ltd. has introduced its new premium beer brand STOK in Bengaluru, marking the company’s entry into the Karnataka market.
The brand was unveiled at a special launch event at Mirage in Ashok Nagar, featuring stand-up comedy, music performances, and creator-led acts that highlighted STOK’s “Live the Chill” theme. Performers included Siddharth Shetty, DJ Lady Barot, MixItWithMendi, and Mr Kadakman. Guests also got an early taste of STOK’s upcoming draught version, which will be available in select outlets soon.
“Bengaluru felt like the perfect place to launch STOK,” said Vedant Kedia, Whole-Time Director at Mount Everest Breweries. “It’s a city that values creativity and community. We wanted to create a beer people reach for when they want to unwind or celebrate small moments.”
STOK will be available in three variants — Strong, Wheat, and Lager — brewed using German hops, quality millets, and advanced brewing technology. A master brewer formerly associated with UB Kingfisher helped develop the recipes.
CEO Vinod Babu G said the launch is part of the company’s wider expansion strategy. “We wanted to offer a premium beer that feels friendly and approachable. With three variants and a draught option coming soon, we’re excited to join Bengaluru’s vibrant beer culture,” he said.
STOK is positioned as a modern Indian take on premium beer, aimed at young, lifestyle-driven consumers who want quality without pretense. The launch focuses on bold packaging, a fresh brand identity, and products tailored to contemporary tastes.
Mount Everest Breweries, part of the Associated Kedia Group, already has a strong presence in central India with brands like Lemount, Mount’s 6000, and Dabang. With STOK now entering Karnataka, the company aims to strengthen its presence in India’s fast-growing premium beer market.
