Sula Vineyards Cheers to Record Revenue and a Booming Year for Wine Tourism

Mumbai, April 2025 – Sula Vineyards, India’s leading wine brand, has wrapped up FY25 with record-breaking annual revenue of ₹618.8 crore—a modest increase of 1.7% over last year. While growth in the fourth quarter was slow at just 0.7%, it was wine tourism that truly stood out, with a massive 24.6% jump in Q4 and a 10.2% increase for the entire year.

The company’s flagship event, SulaFest 2025, played a key role in boosting revenue, thanks to higher visitor spending and packed accommodations. In the domestic wine market, Sula’s premium and elite wines performed steadily, with the elite range growing a healthy 8%. The Source collection emerged as a top performer, showing impressive double-digit growth.

A big win this year was Sula’s success in getting four new wines listed with the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) after a two-year effort. These additions bring their CSD portfolio to nine wines, with first deliveries made in March—paving the way for a strong showing in FY26.

Sula also made its way into the skies—its premium wine cans (Chenin Blanc, Zin Red, and Zin Rosé) are now being served in IndiGo’s international business class, giving global exposure to the brand as the airline expands its overseas reach.

On the production side, the 2025 grape harvest was another highlight, delivering both in quality and quantity, marking the fifth year in a row of excellent vintages. With strong inventory levels, Sula is well-prepared for a sparkling FY26.

Holding over 50% of the Indian wine market, Sula remains a trailblazer—not just in wine production but also in wine tourism. With nearly 70 wine labels produced across five advanced wineries in Maharashtra and Karnataka, and vineyard resorts in Nashik and Bangalore drawing over 400,000 visitors annually, Sula continues to lead the way.

Committed to sustainability, Sula is also a gold member of the International Wineries for Climate Action, and is working towards net-zero emissions by 2050, proving that great wine and green practices can go hand in hand.
