Delhi to Observe Five Dry Days from April to June 2025: Check the Dates

The Delhi government has announced that liquor sales will be prohibited on five specific days between April and June 2025 due to religious festivals. The decision, issued by the excise department, means that all liquor shops in the city will remain closed on these dates.

Dry Days in Delhi (April-June 2025):

  • Ram Navami – April 6

  • Mahavir Jayanti – April 10

  • Good Friday – April 18

  • Buddha Purnima – May 12

  • Eid-ul-Zuha – June 7

According to Excise Commissioner Sunny Singh, these dry days are declared under Rule 52 of the Delhi Excise Rules, 2010. Liquor shop owners have also been instructed to display the government order prominently at their premises.
