New Delhi: Leading beer manufacturer Carlsberg India has reported a 60.5% increase in net profit, reaching ₹323.1 crore in the financial year 2023-24, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
The company also achieved a record-high revenue, crossing the ₹8,000 crore mark for the first time. Total income rose by 15.2% to ₹8,044.9 crore for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, as per financial data accessed through business intelligence platform Tofler.
Carlsberg India confirmed that the ₹323 crore profit has been transferred to reserves and surplus, including other comprehensive income in its balance sheet. The company also highlighted that the beer industry continued to experience strong volume growth throughout the year.
