What’s Behind the Surge?
The jump in stock price came after Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Som Distilleries, announced a major greenfield project in Khimsepur, Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. The facility will include a brewery, distillery, and other production units and will be built on 40 acres of land allocated by the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA). Construction will begin after securing necessary approvals from the U.P. government.

Som Distilleries reported solid financials in Q3FY25:
- Revenue: ₹301 crore (up 13.15% YoY from ₹266 crore in Q3FY24).
- Quarterly Growth: Up 3.79% from ₹290 crore in Q2FY25.
- Net Profit: ₹22 crore (up 22.22% YoY from ₹18 crore in Q3FY24).
- Quarterly Profit Growth: Up 15.78% from ₹19 crore in Q2FY25.
