Piccadily Agro has launched the Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2024, which recently won a ‘Gold Medal’ at the Whiskies of the World Awards 2024. This prestigious competition recognizes the best whiskies globally, and for the second year in a row, Indri’s Diwali Collector’s Edition was celebrated for its craftsmanship, flavor, complexity, and Indian character.
The 2024 edition received high praise from a panel of whisky experts for its unique blend of light fruits, floral notes, and subtle spices. This accolade adds to the reputation of Indri single malt whisky.
Each entry in the awards is scored on a 100-point scale, considering factors like aroma, flavor, and finish, with judging led by top industry critics and influencers.
Siddhartha Sharma, the promoter of Piccadily Agro, expressed pride in maintaining their legacy with this edition. He emphasized that it reflects their commitment to producing exceptional whiskies that showcase the richness of Indian ingredients, while also aiming to establish Indian single malts as competitive on the global stage.
The Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2024 has an alcohol content of 50% ABV and is made from peated six-row barley, distilled in traditional Indian copper pot stills, and aged in select sherry casks in northern India’s subtropical climate.
It will be available exclusively in Gurugram, Haryana, starting October 25, with a price tag of Rs 15,000.
