Pernod Ricard made waves on Wednesday by introducing a significant new addition to its beverage portfolio, Beefeater 0.0%. According to The Spirits Business, this marks the spirit giant’s first foray into alcohol-free products on a global scale.
Crafted in homage to the beloved Beefeater London Dry Gin, Beefeater 0.0% ensures the same zesty and juniper-rich flavor profile found in its alcoholic counterpart, as shared in a press release by Pernod Ricard. The brand achieves this by infusing Beefeater 0.0% with its traditional botanicals.
Murielle Dessenis, the Global Vice President of Marketing for Gins at The Absolut Group, expressed pride in providing an ‘elevated option’ in the non-alcoholic category. She stated in the press release, ‘Beefeater 0.0% is our very first zero alcohol expression, capturing the energy of our timeless London classic without the alcohol.’
This launch signifies Pernod Ricard’s dedication to adapting to the changing preferences of consumers seeking non-alcoholic alternatives. As pioneers in this segment since the introduction of Pacific in 1982, according to the French firm, Pernod Ricard aims to solidify its position as a leading player in the no-alcohol industry.
The official debut of Beefeater 0.0% is eagerly anticipated in Spain.
