Alcostar Group was founded by Arundeep Singla who has a Master’s degree in Finance and hails from a non-entrepreneurial background.

Inspired by the vibrant pub culture he witnessed as a student in Australia, he wanted to get into the realm of quality alcohol and drinks in India.

In 2010, he established Rock and Storm Distilleries in 2010, marking the beginning of his journey. He ultimately sold it to his partner.

Recognizing the untapped potential in north India for embracing brewery culture, Arundeep founded The Brew Estate in 2016, pioneering the microbrewery trend in Chandigarh.

He invested his earnings from his previous venture to bolster the growth of The Brew Estate which swiftly gained prominence as the first microbrewery in Chandigarh.

In 2020, Arundeep founded the Alcostar Group, the parent company of The Brew Estate. With this, he expanded his business across four states: Punjab, Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.

The Alcostar Group currently operates 12 microbrewery outlets and aims to revolutionize India’s alco-beverage industry.

Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Arundeep diversified into the manufacturing and distribution of liquor.

The company specializes in making IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) brands.

It imports liquor from various countries, offering a diverse portfolio that includes renowned brands such as Radio Boka from Spain, Ovation Spumante from South Africa, and Stock from Poland.

The company ensures the use of high-quality scotch blended in Scotland, presenting customers with a luxurious experience at affordable prices.

The Brew Estate offers an array of 80 beer flavors, including enticing options like kiwi, apple, strawberry, and guava.

According to the data provided by the company to SMB Story, Alcostar Group generated Rs 700 Cr revenue in FY20, Rs 800 Cr in FY21 and Rs 1,000 Cr in FY22.

Looking forward, Arundeep’s plans include expanding The Brew Estate to 30 outlets by 2025. International expansion is also on the list.
