Jagatjit Industries Limited has received Environmental Clearance from the Impact Assessment Division of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India on October 14, 2022.
As per the filing, the clearance certificate is provided under the provisions of the EIA Notification, 2006, for setting up 200 KLPD Grain based Ethanol Distillery Plant along with 6.0 MW Co-generation power plant (Biomass based) at the Company’s unit situated at Jagatjit Nagar, Village Hamira, Distt. Kapurthala, Punjab for production of Ethanol from Grain, the company said.
